It’s been quite a while since I last wrote something on my blog. The reason is quite simple. Both Circular and Pjusk now have their own blog-based websites and the need to express my personal ramblings has diminished significantly since their arrival. I strongly suggest you check out the new sites! I will be back from time to time.
NEWSFLASH! Circular will perform live in Athens on the 22nd of January – alongside Carbon Based Lifeforms and Sync24. I am doing a VJ-performance with new visual material provided by Fuglefjellet (helicopter footage). An example can be seen here on Vimeo.

Tracks from the album “Sart” will be featured on the American feature-length documentary Cultures of Resistance directed by Iara Lee and produced by George Gund. We look forward to watching it!
I am thrilled to announce that Danilo Pellegrinelli of Shakti Music is now representing Pjusk as exclusive booking agent. This is a fantastic turn of events and a we are excited and honoured to be in the same stable with prominent artists such as Fennesz, Matmos, Mike Patton, BJNilsen, Alva Noto, Biosphere and other talented acts.
We are delighted to tell you all that the next album from Pjusk called “Sval” will be out on Taylor Deupree’s label 12k March/April 2010. The amount of positive feedback has come as a bit of a surprise to us, but we are extremely proud of our soon-to-be-released album and really hope it will be as accomplished as we feel “Sart” was.
We feel privileged and honoured to be included in the 12k lineup and would like to extend our gratitude to Taylor Deupree for giving us this magnificent opportunity.
A new era! I am not the programming type, but I am really excited about Max being made available for the Ableton Live community. In my mind this is like having NI Reaktor with all its possibilities directly wired into Live’s devices. Please check out the links and you’ll find a ton of info about this great invention. Hopefully someone will make something spectacular with the Akai APC40 as well.
